THE ANGEL is tired, selfless, but full of love. She works and loves endlessly with little appreciation from others.

The Wolf

THE WOLF defends the family at all costs, resorting to violence when necessary.

"Portraits of a Housewife" is a photographic zine by Angela Lee that illustrates the experience of being a housewife through fantastical metaphors. It features photographs of five different characters that each represent an aspect of her mother's lived experience. The project aims to capture the dualities of being a housewife - the romaticization and stigma, beauty and tragedy, joy and pain.
